About Me

I am an artist, a writer and a teacher based in Wimbledon. With over 10 years’ teaching experience, I now specialise in teaching Creative Writing. I graduated from Oxford in 2007 with a degree in French and Spanish Literature and I also have a degree in Law.

Following my degree in Law, I worked in the Court of Appeal as Judicial Assistant to Maurice Kay LJ where my job was to summarise all the arguments in appeal cases and give a provisional opinion on their strengths. I was then offered a job to train as a barrister but ultimately decided it was not for me.

I have been tutoring English Literature and Creative Writing alongside my studies and other work since 2007. Since 2012 I have been teaching Creative Writing in small groups and 1-1 in Raynes Park and Wimbledon. Alongside this, I completed my Art Foundation in 2015 at UCA Epsom, and I am currently in the third year of my Fine Art degree at the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham.

I run a monthly art club called Creativity Club at Wimbledon Library for 7-11 year olds. In 2015 I worked as a weekly assistant with 13-15 year olds on the National Art and Design Saturday Club at the University of the Creative Arts Epsom.

I have quite a lot of experience with learning differences such as ADHD, ADD, Dyspraxia and Dyslexia. I am DBS checked and I have safeguarding training. I am happy to provide references.
